Dr. Dixon is a native of Boise, Idaho and couldn’t be happier serving the community where he was raised. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University-Idaho, Dr. Dixon received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude from SCO and was honored to receive his graduating class’s Outstanding Clinician Award. Dr. Dixon is the first and only provider in the state of Idaho be recognized by the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control with the distinguished IACMM designation, demonstrating his knowledge and expertise in the realm of myopia control.

Dr. Dixon is proud to be an expert in specialty contact lens fitting, including scleral contact lenses, orthokeratology, rigid gas permeable and more. He especially loves helping those who previously thought they were “not a candidate for contact lenses” discover that with the right contact lens design, just about anyone can gain freedom from glasses. Few things bring him as much satisfaction as seeing a custom designed lens change a patient’s life. He provides full-scope eye care to all ages, from 0 year olds to 100 year olds. Dr. Dixon has training in the management of ocular diseases including keratoconus, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease and others. Dr. Dixon is a member of Idaho Optometric Physicians, American Optometric Association, Scleral Lens Society, and the American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control.

When not bringing new clarity to his patients, Dr. Dixon loves enjoying the outdoors with his beautiful wife, three crazy kids, and naughty golden retriever. He especially enjoys building bikes and using them to explore Idaho’s thousands of miles of trails and dirt roads. He and his family also love to camp, backpack, rock climb, ski, and explore Idaho’s many hidden corners.

Kelley, our team leader, works hard to keep all aspects of the office running like a well-oiled machine. She is proud to be a board-certified optician by the American Board of Opticianry and will help with anything you might need regarding your glasses. Her passion for eye care shines through as she breathes new life into old glasses and helps our patients see clearly. Outside of work, Kelley is a proud foster parent, an avid reader, and cherishes quality time with her family.

Chelsea is one of our excellent opticians, so she helps patients find the best frame and lens solutions to meet their vision and lifestyle needs. She also ensures your insurance is billed appropriately and is ready to jump in and help with anything else that is needed around the office. Her favorite part of eyecare is watching little kids put on glasses for the first time, finally being able to see things clearly. She says, “It just warms my heart and makes me so thankful to be a part of this world.”  Chelsea is a self-proclaimed “nerdy girl” who loves Lord of the Rings and murder mysteries. Whenever she is not at work, Chelsea can be found reading on the couch with her cats and husband.

Samantha is one of our talented optometric technicians and recently became an official Certified Para-Optometric, passing her CPO exam with flying colors.  She performs many of the initial tests during your exam.  Sam is often the one to help patients learn how to safely apply and remove contact lenses for the first time.  Sam says, “My favorite part of eyecare is helping people see with contacts for the first time. I remember my first pair of contacts; it really helped my self-esteem!”

Sam is a native of Montana and has lived in Idaho since she was 6 years old. Her favorite part of living in the Gem State is our beautiful outdoors.  When she is not helping patients see their best, she enjoys comedy shows and working on her art.

Savannah is one of our experienced opticians.  She is dedicated to providing personalized eye care for each patient, making sure everyone finds the perfect eyewear to fit their needs. As a long-time glasses wearer herself, she loves helping our patients find the frames that are not only functional but also make them feel confident as well.

Savannah is an Idaho native and loves spending time with her loved ones, enjoying a good meal, being out in nature, or cuddled up with her two dogs, Olive and Nala.
